Supporters of the plan to rehabilitate and reuse the Navy’s former air station in Alameda are targeting an early 2010 election to place the Alameda Point Revitalization Initiative before voters.

Come and learn what is being planned for youth sports and recreation facilities at Alameda Point. The plans include a 58-acre sports complex that will feature facilities for soccer, baseball, football, tennis, basketball and swimming. The new community is also planned to offer miles of walking trails and bicycle paths, and several parks and playgrounds.
